I’m Tara, a freelance social media content creator and founder of Garnet Social Studio. I partner one-on-one with businesses, schools, and sports programs to bring their brand voice, goals, and audience to life. I’m passionate, creative, and driven by the details.

My professional journey began in education and leadership, where I served as a teacher, assistant principal, and district curriculum supervisor. After stepping away to be home with my two children, I embraced a new chapter building a successful soccer coaching business and eventually coaching at the collegiate level.

It was there, while managing the team’s social media presence, that I discovered my passion for content creation and digital storytelling.

What started as a creative outlet quickly became something more.

I made the intentional decision to pivot my career - fully immersing myself in the world of social media through continued learning, including Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing programs at Cornell University.

I believe in the power of reinvention, in evolving with purpose, and in making space for creativity.

To me, the most powerful social media blends raw, unfiltered moments with radiant, refined content because - brilliance lives in the balance.
